Paris Bennett was voted off last night.
It really didn’t come as any surprise. America gets to choose who they want as the next American Idol. This show often disgusts me. I am happy that Taylor is still around, however when Mandisa left - I lost interest in this show.

Dennis Lehane's next published novel is a major publishing event. It's been 4 years since Lehane's last book, Shutter Island. On Dennis Lehane's website, there's more info about The Given Day that you can read there.
This is a historical novel. A historical epic that is somewhat of a departure for Lehane. The release date for The Given Day is Sept. 23. Look for a review.
