Strange Candy

Yes, I bought the new Laurell K. Hamilton book, “Strange Candy.” Based on the fact that these short stories were her earliest works. It offered up the first ever Anita Blake story and it was a breath of fresh air and left me with a longing for more. “Those Who Seek Forgiveness” was pretty good. Reminded me of the old days when Anita Blake was solving cases and raising the dead. In here she’s just raising the dead. There’s no Jean-Claude or Richard but do I care? No. I perused the rest of the stories and plan to read them. Laurell K. Hamilton has a vivid imagination and I do miss reading her work, very much. Just pull you up a chair and read the first story when your in the bookstore next time.

America’s Next Top Model UPDATE:

They finally got rid of Monique. Or Monique got rid of herself. I didn’t live with them and she was driving me insane. Example: she took her underwear off and rubbed it all over this girl’s bed while she was sleeping. Talk about a nut case. Anyway, she got sick, read “dehydrated” and didn’t make it to the photo shoot. I remember last year when one of the girls was sick read as “dehydrated” she pulled herself together and gave it her all and turned it out. She won last year. Monique went home. A moment of silence, please.
