The Weather has been in the news all f. day. We may get sleet, snow, rain-sleet. Who knows. I am sick of hearing about it already. I left work today and it was 37 degrees. It’s been hovering around 30 degrees all day but the wind factor makes it feel a lot colder. Did I mention that I absolutely abhor cold weather. I guess I’ll be hibernating at home on my next couple of days off, which means I get to read more.

pretty much… which is good cuz the weather made my migraines go wiggy
I was amazed that some parts of Houston was under ice. It just wasn’t around my neck of the woods. So you hibernated at home, too, eh?
heeee this is my first day back at work since Monday… we just about shut san antonio down baby
Well, the media and the weatherman got it wrong — again! Yay! I woke up this morning, I see the sun is trying to come out and it’s still 35 degrees. They said it would be below zero, ice would be on my car, we were gonna see some sleet or rain, some “precipitation.” Riiiiiiight. Welcom to my part of the world where we get a very brief winter and a lot of hot days. Love it.
All this cold storm was coming from Canada or Siberia. And Xina, I so agree with you about the media being gleeful about bad weather. It’s annoying.
Cindy, I don’t envy you your snow and yes, I plan to get some reading done. I haven’t read anything in the past four or five days.
Welcome to my world Keishon! We were just hit with quite a snowstorm 2 days ago. I hate how the weather people seem almost gleeful before the fact. And they report on the upcoming snowfall on the hour like it’s a terrorist attack and not just weather. So, now we are left with icy roads, biting windchill (I’ll take your balmy 30 degrees). I Hate Winter…today at least.
Around our parts it’s extremely weird to here how Canada is being hit hard by winter. Yeah, okay, every other place except where it usually hits hard! We finally got some snow with sleet and all the trees are wrapped in ice but I thought it was never going to happen.
I hope you get some great reading done — the weather has kept me in my chair also — but I’m already getting cabin fever and need to get out!
