Naruto Vol. 1 by Masashi Kishimoto is a fun and quick read. This one was another manga title recommended to me.  The story follows Naruto and his antics. He’s always getting into trouble. Here a description:

Naruto must pass the difficult test to enter the Ninja Academy; deal with his rival, Konohamaru; and learn to get along with his new classmates, Sasuke and Sakura. Assigned to a three-person team, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura must survive a brutal test against their upper-level ninja instructor, Kakashi. Only two can pass — will Naruto be one of them?

Naruto, Vol. 1 I love Naruto. Naruto grew up an orphan in the Village. He is always seeking out attention and recognition from others by his antics. He’s a regular prankster. However, many know his true origins and the relationship between himself and the nine-tailed fox demon that was defeated in the village twelve years earlier. There’s a reason why the villagers shun him and treat him like an outcast. Meanwhile, Naruto decides to be a Ninja and goes to academy to train. The story arcs continue to flow from that point on and the action picks up big time.

There is plenty of action and humor to make this yet another favorite series of mine. Yet another manga title recommended by an online pal. Another good title to start with if your interested in reading manga. Must warn you that there are currently 15 books in this series thus far. I think. This series is action-oriented if that’s your thing and did I mention fun? I love the artwork in here, love Naruto and his pranks and deep down inside, he’s just misunderstood but he has a heart of gold. My grade, B+.

The new series have came out where the characters are older. I believe this series is much better as the story line goes, with less, or more interesting fillers. Check it out!
