I’ve been remiss in my reading. I need to win the lottery so that I can stay home and read all 1200 of my books. Yeah. Right. I don’t know what it is about my TBR pile. The glow is no longer there for some of the books I purchased. After a few months, I’m looking at it going: why did I buy this? Oh, Jane liked it. Or Sybil liked it. Lord knows if Sybil liked anything I need to leave it at the store. Ouch. Just kidding. I’ll hear about it later.
Mini-Quick Book Review: Bad Case of Loving You by Laney Cairo. Very good. The story is mxm erotica that JMC mentioned on her blog. The book intrigued me since it featured a story about doctors on strike in the UK. Matthew Blake is a med student who has an affair with his mentor and supervisor (attending physician) Dr. Andrew Maynard. Dr. Maynard decides to be a bit risky and have an affair with his student. He knows it’s improper and could cost him his job but he takes a risk anyway. This is erotica just so you don’t misunderstand. Not romance. Also this story actually has a realistic plot and was just as interesting as the er sex scenes. Dr. Maynard and staff go on strike for a fellow doctor whose hand was slapped for going around the red tape to take care of his patient. Socialized medicine at it’s best. You’d have to read the book to find it how it ends. Also, must mention Matthew’s interesting body piercings. He has a Apadravya. If you don’t know what that is you can go here to find out. Needless to say this was a quick read. My PDA page count was around 520 pages. So, a quickie. No pun intended. A recommend especially to those who so enjoyed The Assignment by Evangeline Anderson. This book just blew it out of the water for me. Alas, that is just my opinion, of course. You can purchase this book at Fictionwise. Come on, live a little. Read outside your comfort zone.

Yeah, I love to pick on Sybil. I live for that.
Even if Sybil doesn’t like it, I thought it was funny.
