Just in case you haven’t heard, an Interstate bridge in Minneapolis collapsed yesterday during rush hour traffic killing 4 people and injuring 62 others. Alias comic book series ran from 2002-2004 and was created by writer Brian Michael Bendis. The artwork is by Michael Gaydos and the publisher is Marvel Comics. Alias: Volume 1 contains issues 1 to 9. Dennis Lehane's next published novel is a major publishing event. It's been 4 years since Lehane's last book, Shutter Island. On Dennis Lehane's website, there's more info about The Given Day that you can read there.
This is a historical novel. A historical epic that is somewhat of a departure for Lehane. The release date for The Given Day is Sept. 23. Look for a review.
