Calvary Wife by Donna Dalton is an ebook that is currently a bestseller at Fictionwise. I fell in love with the cover and was hoping this would be a good story. What I got was a formulaic romance that bored me to tears. Here is the book’s description:

Dennis Lehane's next published novel is a major publishing event. It's been 4 years since Lehane's last book, Shutter Island. On Dennis Lehane's website, there's more info about The Given Day that you can read there.
This is a historical novel. A historical epic that is somewhat of a departure for Lehane. The release date for The Given Day is Sept. 23. Look for a review.
