Just a reminder that HBO’s The Wire, starts this Sunday, Jan 6th, 9pm. I plan to do a recap of each episode to be posted every Monday. The last season is finally here. Wow, I can’t believe that this is it. Most of the Barksdale crew is now gone. Marlo is the new power and the CID has some familiar faces back on the case. I wonder if Avon will make an appearance?

You know Brie, I had that same underwhelmed feeling when I saw the first episode of Season 2 with the longshoreman. You have tamped down my expectations a bit so thanks for your feedback. I thought the opener for last season rocked. Is it the same theme song? I liked last year’s theme song.
I saw it yesterday on HBO on demand. It was just okay. I was expecting more but oh well. Then again it was only the first episode and it seemed to do a lot of setting up for the rest of the season. I hope this season is as good as the previous ones.
