I missed this bit of news and wonder how many other fans out there are aware that HBO will be bringing Charlaine Harris’s vampires to life soon. The exec-producer will be Alan Ball who created one of my favorite HBO series, Six Feet Under. I’ve never read the Sookie Stackhouse vampire series but I will rectify that soon. Meanwhile, keep an eye out. This should be good. According to the article, the pilot has already been shot and Ball has written several episodes already.

I’ve been waiting for this show since 2006! LOL It was announced a while ago, and there are some set pictures (of the bar sign) on Charlaine’s website. It’ll be interesting to see one of my favourite series brought to the tv screen.
