St. Martin’s Press will not allow dis­tri­b­u­tion of the unau­tho­rized Tom Cruise biog­ra­phy by Andrew Mor­ton out­side the US, namely, Aus­tralia. This has cre­ated a supply/demand issue out­side the US, giv­ing sell­ers on eBay an advan­tage to sell the book three times the orig­i­nal cost (US $26). The pub­lisher has appealed to eBay to not sell the book but last I checked, there were 30 books for sell on ebay sell­ing for $40.  Is this cen­sor­ship? To exclude other coun­tries? The book does make some pow­er­ful claims against Sci­en­tol­ogy who has in turn, threat­ened the publisher/author with a lawsuit.
