John Grisham Doesn’t Take Himself Seriously

Yes, I am re-posting this interview since CNN is now reprinting the story. I really enjoyed Grisham’s interview as he doesn’t care if his work is not literary and doesn’t care if his work doesn’t stand the test of time. He’s an entertainer with a new book out right now titled, The Appeal, another legal thriller. Let me share a secret with you: legal suspense novels are my least favorite. I’ve only read one Grisham book and that was the book that catapulted him into bestseller status: The Firm, about a lawyer who works for a law firm that makes him an offer that is too good to be true.
