Writers of the Wire Wax Poetic On Show’s Five Year Run
The season finale of The Wire is March 9. Where has the season gone? Anyway, I ran across this article that is written by Dennis Lehane, George Pelacanos, David Simon, Ed Burns on what it is they were trying to convey with their five year run of The Wire. All I have to say is that it’s been a great ride, guys. I own all four seasons and can’t wait till season five is available. You can read the entire article here. Enjoy.

As the airdate for the last episode of The Wire approaches, Marc Steiner and the Center for Emerging Media are doing a new series of interviews on The Wire. There’s going to be a new one added to their site every day this week, available as podcasts, streaming audio, and transcripts. Interviews, with Ed Burns, David Simon, Robert Chew (Prop Joe,) and Brendan and Willa at Viva House are already up! To be followed by Clarke Peters, Andre Royo, and more.
