Harry Potter has made it to college. The professors who teach the course examine among other things, theology and the global impact these books have had across the globe. I bet this class is packed (with a waiting list a mile long) and it sounds like fun. The article goes on further to argue that chidren’s literature is literature and should be taken seriously, no matter the age group or accessibility. I agree. I know I am drawn to YA literature in all genre’s because there seems to be a larger pool for original and thought provoking ideas that relates to the world we live in today.
