I'd have to say that the artwork was beautiful as was the story. My only negative mark is that the story went to fast in certain areas. But overall, I give it a B. After borrowing it from the library, I bought a copy for my personal library. I'm anxiously awaiting Y's 10th volume, and looking forward to whatever GN/comic Mr. Vaughan works on next. Oddly, my library system lists this as juvenile fiction. They are usually pretty good about classifying the GN/manga appropriate, but not in this case. I think the idea of animals escaping from the zoo mislead them into classifying it as a children's book. I loved this GN for the story and the gorgeous illustrations.
