This news piece showed up in my inbox today, informing me that there’s a very brief excerpt of the first chapter of Breaking Dawn available online at EW. There are special editions of Eclipse that will have the full first chapter on sale May 31. Breaking Dawn pub date is Aug 2 which is on a Saturday. Some bookstores are heavily promoting her books with midnight release parties ala JK Rowling style. Still no cover shot available but I did read somewhere that there’s a release day for that, too.
Edited to add that Eclipse: Special Edition is available in hardcover only thereby pushing back the paper release. I would have thought the excerpt would have been available in the paperback copy but I see that it is not.

Ha a typical self consious Belle, of course people were loking at the car, one of the few exotic cars in forks (prob a lamberginni) given to her by the cullens…wow she doesnt have it so bad, i wouldnt mind anyway, a vampire? Yes please!

Actually in the first chapter of Breaking Dawn, Edward did buy Bella a new car. It is a very rare care that isn’t really even available to us yet. This car is built buy Mercedes, is it a car that will allow no harm to come to Bella. It is called “The Guard” or “The Guardian”. Edward bought it for Bella after her, “truck mysteriously stopped working”. Of course people were staring, this car barley exists, it is meant to be private cars for very important people as it is Some of the attacks the vehicle is capable of withstanding include armour resisting military-standard small-arms projectiles, hand grenade fragments other explosive charges. Additional safety features include run-flat tyres, a self-sealing fuel tank and a fire-extinguishing system. I think its kind of funny how edward bought bella a before and after car ( in the first chapter it talks about how edward bought bella a before car , the guard, and a mystery after car for when she’s not so “breakable” and won’t need missile proof windows hahaha!
What??? - does that mean Bella and Edward DO end up together? and get married? because i’d feel kind of bad on Jacob, i mean he rocks but anyone with any sence knows that Edward and Bella belong together :)????????
I was looking for more information about Stephenie Meyer and Breaking Dawn (SO excited about the release of Breaking Dawn! even though Midnight Sun will probably be more interesting) and I stumbled across this. I loved reading Eclipse, even though I feel that Bella could definitely be stronger. But I still love the series, and want her to end up with Jacob. wow some people cant spell car names. i believe its mercedes and lamborgini but whatever. and jacob and bella have to be together. jacob is clearly the more attractive one than edward… in my opinion i’d rather be with someone who’s all hot and dark than someone who is cold as ice and pale… no offense to edward of course
well sorry to disapoint Jacob lovers out there but it is only a 5% majority who are on his side and I really don’t think Stephanie Meyer would want to disapoint 95% of her fans by making Bella suddenly change her mind in choice or kill off Edward in some fight. Also in a *spoiler alert* it states that the wedding is defitly taking place and it will be traditional and ‘girly girl’ -this is at a VERY early stage in the book so I haven’t ruined much besides we all knew that was going to happen anyway:)
I am personally(and obviously by my name) on Edwards side 100% -I would definitly prefer a cold copper haired vampire than a hot(temperature terms) dark werewolf. Though i do feel kind of sorry for Jacob because Bella was his first love so he was bound to try every way in trying to win her back so you can’t blame him for forcefully kissing her-I hope he will imprint on someone soon but I know not everyone can have a happy ending.
I’m definitely a Jacob fan… all other considerations aside, Edward is 109! What is he doing with a 17-year old girl? At least she’s 18 now, so that’s slightly better… I guess. And Edward is way more controlling. I’m reeeeeally excited about Breaking Dawn. BooksOnBoard is giving away the Breaking Dawn eBook for free if you pre-order, which is pretty nice.
