While I have read many reviews on the Kindle, none have made me want one or even tempted to buy one for anyone else to try. While many may squee over the instant download of ebooks like I squee over instant downloads of songs to my iPhone from the iTunes store, there is still much to be done in making the perfect ebook reader, for starters, getting rid of the multiple formats would be f. great and actually owning the content you buy would be neat ^-^. This article addresses the pros and cons but also addresses the publisher’s fears about the pricing of ebooks hurting the author’s wallet because as the price goes down, so does the royalties but wait -what about increase in volume? Won’t that make up for that? Read the article from an author’s POV.
