Celebrity Baby Photos Worth the Millions?
In a stalled economy where gas money competes with the grocery money — who in the world is going to run out and buy the latest US copy of a magazine that just paid Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt 11 million dollars for their baby photos? Talk about a social disconnect. The article did not disclose who that lucky magazine was that bought the baby pictures. All I have to say to that is wow — chances are slim to none that they’ll recoup the money.
I think I had heard on the radio that singer Christina Aguilera was upset because her son’s baby pics only went for 1.5 million (laughing).
Edited to Add: Angelina and Brad are donating their 11 million dollars to charity.

Yes, Rosie they did. I was more or less taking a digg at the magazine. I mean 11 million for baby pictures and I just don’t think the public really cares because when it’s all said and done — I doubt they’ll recoup the money back. People — at least those around me — are not spending their hard earned cash on Hollywood gossip. The only good to come out of this is that they are donating the money to charity.

Keishon, I saw a blurb the other day that the bidding war for the photos of the new babies was on but hadn’t heard it hit 11 million. Did the article you read say anything about Brangelina donating the money to charity? That’s what they did with the money they got for Shiloh’s pictures.
