Technology: US Lags in Broadband Speed

In order to stay competitive in the global market, the US needs more speed.According to study, the US (2.3 Mbps) lags behind Japan (63 Mbps) and South Korea (49 Mbps), among other countries. There is a bill, in the Senate that is supposed to define broadband service via the Broadband Data Improvement Act (S.1492).

Wow. I didn’t realize that are downloads were that slow.
