CNet offers devel­op­ers another option for their cov­eted apps and that is Android, Google’s new smart phone that will launch Oct 22. I’ve read the com­plaints from devel­op­ers about Apple’s refusal to dis­close details regard­ing their rejected apps. Maybe this will be another viable venue? Accord­ing to the arti­cle, the Android plat­form is not uni­form so this may pro­vide more of a chal­lenge but this is another option for your time and money.
