More Big Name Authors Going Digital
Maybe that’s what ebooks need — more big name authors going digital. Danielle Steele has recently decided to go digital. I don’t know how extensive Danielle Steele’s backlist is but 71 titles will be available in ebook this month (Feb 24). You GO girl.

In recent weeks, John Grisham and Tom Clancy also have agreed to allow their novels to come out as e-books, a tiny, but quickly growing market
I’ve already seen Clancy’s ebooks at a few of the etailers I frequent. Ebooks may make up a tiny share of the market but soon that will change. Repeat after me: ebooks are the future. I’m not saying that print should die. I’m just advocating that ebooks should be viewed as a viable option and that publishers should stop treating that format like some evil, red headed step-child.

Just wanted to do a quick post about WHSmithEbooks.com which is powered by Overdrive, Inc.. It’s a UK site that I browse regularly when I can’t find a digital copy of an ebook in the US ebookstores. And no, I don’t use nor buy Kindle ebooks because I find it akin to throwing my money away. Anyway, what books have I found there?
