Sweetheart (2008) by Chelsea Cain is the sequel to last years, New York Times bestseller, Heartsick. The story is told in third person and is set in Portland, Oregon.

Dennis Lehane's next published novel is a major publishing event. It's been 4 years since Lehane's last book, Shutter Island. On Dennis Lehane's website, there's more info about The Given Day that you can read there.
This is a historical novel. A historical epic that is somewhat of a departure for Lehane. The release date for The Given Day is Sept. 23. Look for a review.
