Fever Dreams by Laura Leone could be best described as a adventure story with a steamy, hot romance. I loved it. You had a bad ass yet sensitive hero paired with a heroine who was straight-laced in public but with the hero, she is able to just be herself.

Dennis Lehane's next published novel is a major publishing event. It's been 4 years since Lehane's last book, Shutter Island. On Dennis Lehane's website, there's more info about The Given Day that you can read there.
This is a historical novel. A historical epic that is somewhat of a departure for Lehane. The release date for The Given Day is Sept. 23. Look for a review.
